// CO-FOUNDER OPPORTUNITY
Go-To-Market & Growth Co-Founder
The technical foundation has been built. The next phase of the company will be won or lost by distribution.
We are building the system of record for an individual's professional life. Every resume, promotion packet, interview brief, and performance review becomes a generated view over that structured record. The product exists. Payments are live. We're not looking for someone to market a product—we're looking for someone to help define the company.

// 01. WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY
Five Reasons to Build Here
- Product Already Operating in Production: Skip 6–12 months of early technical prototyping; clbry.com is live and processing transactions.
- Technical Execution Risk Substantially Reduced: Core backend infrastructure, automated vector typesetting, and billing architectures are complete.
- A Compounding Data Moat: Shift from episodic PDF tools to a compounding system of record with deep switching costs.
- Clean Founder-Market Fit: Partner with a technical founder focused purely on rapid platform engineering and systems architecture.
- True Co-Founder Ownership Day One: Co-own commercial strategy, positioning, pricing, and fundraising narratives.
// 02. WHY NOW
Episodic Tools vs. Compounding Records
Legacy career tools monetize an episodic transaction: a candidate needs a job, builds a resume, downloads a PDF, and churns forever. That produces weak, high-churn businesses.
AI makes it possible to shift the core asset from the document to the database. As users continuously log project wins, promotions, and metrics, the record becomes exponentially more valuable over time—creating a compounding personal system of record that powers every career workflow.
// 03. THE CORE THESIS
Core Product Principle
Resumes are generated views over a structured professional record.
Most professionals don't have a writing problem—they have an information management problem. Every promotion, project win, and technical launch slowly disappears into old documents. Every job application becomes an archaeological dig from scratch.
Calibry AI (clbry.com) introduces a persistent Cumulative Career Ledger. Instead of rebuilding from scratch, users capture wins continuously—and Calibry dynamically queries that ledger to generate tailored, vector-typeset applications in seconds.

Discovering and Scaling the Commercial Engine
The resume is simply our initial wedge. As a co-founder, you are joining to help build a long-term commercial platform:
Year 1 • Discovery
- • Validate target ICP & positioning
- • Identify repeatable acquisition channels
- • Refine pricing & onboarding flows
- • Generate strong evidence of PMF
Years 2–3 • Expansion
- • Default platform for tech leads
- • Launch B2B & university partnerships
- • Build out initial commercial team
Years 4–5 • Living Record
- • Promotion & performance packets
- • Internal mobility workflows
- • AI career intelligence ecosystem
// 05. CATEGORY POSITIONING
Generic AI Chatbots vs. Living Career Record
| Generic AI Chatbots | Calibry Living Record |
|---|---|
| Generates raw text documents | Builds a persistent career system |
| Starts from scratch every time | Cumulative ledger that remembers everything |
| Produces copy requiring manual formatting | Outputs finished, ATS-audited vector PDFs |
| Forces user to organize context | Organizes your professional history automatically |
// 06. PROOF OF EXECUTION
Execution Foundation Established
The foundational platform is fully built, integrated, and operating in production:
Deployed at clbry.com with persistent ledger & automated typesetting engines.
Cloud-native platform with automated deployment, billing, and operational monitoring in place.
Self-serve Stripe checkout and subscription management active in production.
Full end-to-end user onboarding live and ready for initial customer acquisition campaigns.
// 07. WHY THIS IS HARD
The Unsolved Distribution Puzzle
The technical platform is built. The remaining challenge is not shipping features—it's discovering repeatable distribution, pressure-testing our positioning, and identifying the commercial motion that can scale from early adopters to broader markets.
That is why we are looking for a commercial co-founder rather than simply hiring a marketer.
// 08. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Mindset & Background
We are looking for someone who has helped build and scale SaaS businesses, enjoys customer conversations as much as growth experiments, thinks in systems rather than isolated tactics, and wants to build—not simply operate—a commercial organization.
// 09. FOUNDER PRINCIPLES
How We Operate
// 10. WHY US (FOUNDER PARTNERSHIP)
Technical Execution Meets Commercial Strategy
I’m an AI systems architect who loves building foundational platforms, shipping rapidly, and solving technically complex workflow problems.
I deliberately focused on eliminating product execution risk before recruiting a commercial counterpart because I wanted my future co-founder to inherit something real rather than a slide deck. I believe great companies are built by complementary founders—I've focused on technical risk, and I'm looking for a partner who wants to own the commercial challenge with the same level of intensity.
// 11. CO-FOUNDER SCOPE
Full Co-Ownership Over Commercial Strategy
You’ll have primary ownership over commercial strategy while partnering closely on product direction and overall company strategy. You will co-own:
- Category Positioning & Messaging: Pressure-testing and establishing the living career record framing.
- Go-To-Market & Growth Loops: Designing scalable PLG mechanics, content engines, and acquisition channels.
- Pricing & Unit Economics: Optimizing subscription tiers and customer lifetime value.
- Partnerships & Enterprise Strategy: Exploring B2B, university, and outplacement channels.
- Fundraising & GTM Hiring: Shaping the venture narrative and recruiting the first commercial team.
// 12. PARTNERSHIP & EQUITY TERMS
30–60 Day Mutual Working Sprint
We believe co-founder relationships should be earned through working together—not negotiated over coffee.
Before finalizing long-term agreements, we begin with a structured mutual trial:
User discovery interviews, onboarding analysis, messaging audit, and core ICP definition.
Execute 2–3 low-cost acquisition experiments and establish repeatable conversion metrics.
Equity Range (10% – 25%): Subject to standard 4-year vesting with a 1-year cliff. Equity will reflect experience, long-term commitment, and the scope of responsibility assumed.
Our Ambition
The resume is our entry point—not our destination. Calibry is building a living professional record that continuously captures, organizes, and transforms career achievements into whatever artifact you need next.
If you're excited by building the commercial engine behind a fundamentally new approach to career software, we'd love to explore whether we're the right founding team.
